WT project for a mixed-used area dedicated to residence , commerce and entertainment.
The request of the government was to create a cosmopolitan area with international appeal. Mumbai is one of the five cities included in the centrally sponsored Mega City Scheme launched by the Government of India. The Scheme aims to prepare the local governments to use institutional finance and eventually market instruments like municipal bonds for the capital investment requirements.
The WT project foreseen mixed use facilities such as: middle density residential buildings; extensive shopping malls with showrooms of international brands, numerous restaurants, and bars; hospitality structures with hotels, VIP clubs and Spa; recreational centers with cinemas, theatres and discotheques; multy sport and wellness centers; cultural centers for exhibitions, formation and conferences.
